In 2024, demand for cyber professionals showed a downward trend over the year, with live postings peaking in February at 1,052. 

With similar data from 2023, this data trend indicates that the start of 2025 is a great time to apply for a new role with increased job postings.

In 2025, the hybrid working model is set to be more robust with the adoption of more advanced security architectures, AI integration, comprehensive employee training, and robust cloud security measures to address the evolving threat landscape (ISACA, 2025).

London leads cyber job demand with 2,829 job openings on Adzuna, reflecting its status as a major business hub. South East England follows with 1,484 openings, and North West with 1,158, mirroring regional concentrations of businesses requiring strong cyber security.
